This luncheon will feature two of our Product Managers who will address important aspects of the plans for Paradise 3.2, which will be released later this year.  Their respective topics include: 

  • Cliff Kelly – Geobodies from Neural Classification Results:  Generating and Isolating Geobodies from Self Organizing Maps, a New Machine Learning Application
  • Irina Mardanova – Attributes on Demand:  Generating the Advanced (AASPI) Attributes on a High Performance Computing (HPC) Cluster, a Step Toward the Cloud

Cliff Kelley
Geophysical Insights | Product Manager

Clifford Kelley has been at Geophysical Insights since early 2016 doing work in software design and implementation of Machine Learning tools and fundamental tools in Paradise. Before coming to Geophysical Insights, he was Vice President of IHS Geoscience Software, overseeing the direction of Geological and Geophysical software for IHS. He was the IHS Director of Strategy & Planning in a prior position, overseeing all of the IHS Kingdom Geophysical and visualization products. He joined Seismic Micro Technology (SMT) in 2001 as the 2d/3dPAK Product Manager.  Previous to joining Kingdom Cliff worked at Schlumberger Wireline in the Borehole Geophysics group. There he was involved in the development, modeling and interpretation of Vertical Seismic Profiles and Microseismic technology. Cliff also worked for Phillips Petroleum, Elf Aquitaine and Landmark in international interpretation, special project and R&D groups. He has worked as an independent consultant, interpreting and teaching interpretation and workstation technology domestically and internationally. Cliff earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Geology at Oklahoma State University and did his MS graduate work in Geophysics at Wright State University in Dayton, Ohio.

Irina Mardanova
Geophysical Insights | Product Manager

Irina graduated from St. Petersburg State University, Russia with B.S. in Physics, M.Sc. in Geophysics and later she received her M.Sc. degree in Applied and Computational Mathematics from the University of Texas at Austin. Her career has been focused around creating highly specialized software applications for reservoir engineers, geologists, and geophysicists. Irina co-authored patents, technical papers, and gave multiple presentations about automated workflows in geology and geophysics. Currently, she serves as a product manager for Paradise at Geophysical Insights.
